It’s not like I never asked this question myself - asked it 100 times, answered it 100 times but never got a chance to word it or pen it down. There may be thousand of things you get out of blogging but what are the most important factors that motivates you to blog. Whenever I thought about it, I kind of answered vaguely in my mind and closed the chapter, but as they say your blogosphere neighborhood motivates you as well - Enkay’s question on worthiness of blogging made me answer this question again today and this time I am making sure I pen it down. I have created few blogs in past, some I could continue with, some I had to close and some are idle at this moment - these were all developed in my early age of blogging and I learned a lot from it. This blog certainly would be continued though for whatever reason. So what you get, when you blog?
The satisfaction factor…
Having knowledge on something and sharing it for others really gives satisfaction. You see many of them looking for some information, you know it and you are sure you can give better opinion on it than others or at least some value addition to it. I feel very satisfied when I write about the areas where I am more comfortable and knowledgeable in. I have seen people benefiting from my posts and that gives me immense pleasure.
Being a part of…
Human being always likes to be a part of something… very few people you will see around who really want to remain isolated. Everyone out there, want to be part of a group, part of community, part of some or the other thing. This drives many of them to scribble something nice on blogging walls and motivates being a part of…
Making 2 cents per minute…
No doubt it’s a motivation factor. Rather I say it’s one of the most important motivation factor in blogging sphere. Many of them just blog to make money and as they say, it’s not bad - but you might agree to my point as well. I think you shall certainly make money but make sure you don’t ignore the quality of the blog content after making money online; and that’s what I try here. I have seen many blogs forgot writing an actual post and posting all crap. It’s very important to keep it proportionate when it comes down to not only blogging, quality blogging.
I can come up with many more factors, but I would like to give you a chance as well to express your opinion. Write me a note through contact page or just comment here.
