Hey thanks for the info.

I was searching for this specific information everywhere.

But my question is how these two are related to back linking?

I use on Google link:domainname.com

in Yahoo linkdomain:www.domainname.com to find out backlinking.

Did u register for the site, then u will get. so many back links from so many domains, but why the result is according to Yahoo?

LinkVendor is definitely a good tool to check your domain popularity.

very informative! I think ,Domain popularity is only the first step in the direction of “assessment of organic linking”. In the future, a search engine ranking will be more strongly based on algorithms which can recognize evolutionary resulted link nets and evaluate them accordingly.

The disparity between the backlinks that Yahoo shows (which is pretty much all of them, up to 1000) versus the selective ones acknowledged by Google is something that has always gotten me. The reasoning that Google only shows the ones they value does make sense, but it just doesn’t always quite seem to work like that though!

I like linkvendor. I tried both sites and linkvendor gave more accurate results. A good alternative to yahoo site explorer, thanks.

I’ve been using Linkvendor for quite some time now, and am happy with it. Thanks! Good share! :)

I know this is pretty old news by now but does Google really only count 1 link from each domain?? I’d not heard of this before.
