I have been always waiting for this day full of red roses around, not given by many different people but gifted by my spouse. Ha! Whenever I go online to shopping sites, I try to find out some special Valentine gifts for wife. Of course if I get that free time. Recently, I have been observing that I am in time crunch literally, due to all these blogs and online work spread across 10s of them, maintain, update, market and give good quality output. I feel like outsourcing some of the stuff at least to give me some free time, Ha!

But when I talk about outsourcing my marketing work for the blogs, suddenly an idea clicked in my mind about outsourcing thinking about valentine gift ideas to someone who is master of the niche. Personally, I prefer my Valentine’s gifts to be meaningful, personal and non-commercial. Anyone can buy something but to me, it is really about what the gift says. If a guy puts a lot of thought and love into writing me a card, cooking me a nice dinner or even if he just spends the evening with me, that’s far better than any purchased gift. Of course, flowers, jewelry etc. are lovely gift ideas, but come on – most Valentine’s Day gifts are just tacky and are only bought because the guy feels he has to.

I agree that flowers are always nice and easy. I know women love them and chocolate, however, I would add a personalization to any gift that you give someone that you love. This can add that extra special touch that they will remember forever.

1-800-flowers have been around indeed.They are perhaps one of the pioneers in making thier presence online. Ive tried it a couple of times over the years. Pretty reliable and personal in its service. Good Valentine’s Day recommendation.
