After discussing my opinion about “Blogger or Wordpress?“, I decided to finally move to Wordpress. As I started this blog with low frequency of posting initially, I did not need to actually do the cumbersome task of moving blogger blog to wordpress. Even though I saved lot of time and headache by not “actually” moving blogger blog to Wordpress, you can still find smooth ways to get it done, I feel I have lost the opportunity to learn few new technical things here. As the number of posts since inception were not high in this blog, I manually transfered the posts.
Today, I am very happy to announce that we are finally proud member of Wordpress community. Now it’s the time to party!

Wordpress is just such a great tool. Whether your knowledge of working with webpages is fairly well rounded, or just plain doesn’t exist, it offers such an easy way to manage content that anyone can jump in.
My site really falls in the “less-bloglike” category as I would like it to be more of a portal, but it’s still the best option for me at this time, and I can’t imagine what I would move to down the road. Probably nothing is as flexible and I look forward to seeing what new functionality will appear in future versions.
