Hi

I think you’re right to go for paid software. If a free pieceof software corrupted your registry it could be really disastrous!

To be honest this is an area that I always neglect on my PCs. Perhaps I will be brave and pay for the software :)

I have been burnt by free software several times. I am more interested in quality software and I do not mind paying for quality

You raise a very valid point about the neglect our registries generally suffer, and I’m glad to hear that you had positive results from using this software. Sometimes messing around with freeware just doesn’t cut it!

I’m currently having some stress over some free software I’m using. I might have to branch out and pay for something better. I guess the saying is right: you get what you pay for.

I have to disagree here – ccleaner is as good, if not better, than the majority of paid applications and was even recommended by independent reviews. It always creates a backup so restores are simple.

I want to buy alot of booster packs of a variety of booster boxes. I know the 10th edition is good to start out for newbies, but I need a good strong, low costing mana green deck.So please list the boosters that have good green cards.

I have tried out these computer performance programs but they always ask for money before clearing up any mess they find.

I must admit I have recently moved into the “you get what you pay for” attitude and have purchased similar software with good results.

I’m trying to improve the performance and stability of my computer. I have looked in MSConfig and disabled a number of items in the start-up tab. What about the other tabs (System.ini, win.ini, boot.ini and services)? Can I safely fiddle around with these or is it not recommended?

I’m glad I use a Mac. The Windows registry is a load of failure.

I know it’s not true 100% of the time, but you really do get what you pay for most of the time, great review.

If the software is good, I agree to pay for it. I have not once been convinced that it is better to buy for the money, and save time and nerves than to download the program free of charge and then prove that it does not work.

I just love open source software and I don’t believe anyone should be paying for software of any kind.

Last week I almost spent couple 100 bucks on repair because I couldn’t get any of my dvdroms to work. Turned out all I needed to do was delete 2 registry entries and everything got back to normal.
