Hi Vinay, I am afraid you'd need to take help from job sites only for job search here. It's best way to search for the job. Wish you all the best!

Iam currently holding a valid UK General Migrant Tier 1 visa. I wuld like to ask 2 things.
Firstly is there a stipulated time within which I have to make the first entry to UK from the visa validity start date in which iam already three months late.
Secondly im mailing my resume to consultants from here in India, but no responses to my e-mails even. Now I am thinking, if I should travel to the UK and lookout for a job. But, the market condition in UK is making me think twice. I want to know if consultants will be helpful in marketing my profile, If I were to travel without a job to UK will i get any interview calls reaching there
Your opinion and suggestions in this regard is much appreciated

Hi,

I am thinking of applying for Tier 1 uk visa. I have 8 years of IT experiance (java and related technologies) in India. I want to know how much time it takes to find job in uk after arrival on Tier 1 visa ? How is IT market there? I can see lots of job posts in Monster UK. So wanted to know how much time it really take to find job there ?

Hi

I am on HSMP Visa since July 2006 and it will come to PR renewal in July 2011. I understand that we cant stay more than 90 days in one go or 180 days in total within the span of 5 years. However, I am self employed with a limited company trading since 2006. I import from india and then retail here in the UK. For this, I have to go to India two times a year for ordering goods, i.e. business purpose and each trip could last a maximum of 30 days. I get goods through sea and have proof of accounts, purchase, VAT-Duties etc to show. I got just under one year left and thus I want to goto India in January 2011 for ordering goods for summer of 2011. I have already spent 220 days outside UK but have never crossed 90 days in one go. Out of 220 days only about 50-60 days have been spent on personal leisure/holiday. Can I travel to india in january 2011 for 2 months? Will it effect my PR application?

Regards
