The holidays are just over and you must have enjoyed these festivals moments that are fun times with family gatherings. The winter holidays are gone with Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Did you decorate your Christmas tree with lights and all, that’s wonderful isn’t it! There are nice dinners and some nice music on and every one is busy decorating the tree with lights and various decorative stuff. When I was in North Carolina this Christmas, I visited a town that was called Christmas town, where all the houses, trees around in this town were decorated with lights.
Isn’t this looking beautiful? I know, it is. But imagine when all the town was lit like this, how many lights must have been used and moreover how much energy being utilized to lit these houses, trees and everything around. I can’t even imagine it being there for 10-15 days all nights. Though it’s looking amazing, thinking from different perspective, I thought about how much energy was consumed to do all this. I would rather call it as wastage of precious energy if proper means were not used to save it. And who said there would not be any options available to have the same effect in there. I have read about LED Christmas Lights before that are more efficient than standard incandescent lights and will last for more than 50,000 hours. LED Christmas tree lights use 80-90% less energy than incandescent lights which is just incredible saving of energy. And moreover the reuse of LED lights year after year because of it’s durability and long lasting nature - is one big reason to use these LED lights.
Next questions comes, if it’s so efficient and saves energy sources, where are these available? HolidayLED.com offers a very nice selection of LED Christmas Lights, LED Rope Lights, LED Wedding Lights, LED Halloween Lights. They are good for the environment and as they explain in the FAQs and that’s how I come to know as well. See my habit of reading online, helps me a lot at times. Check out what they say -
Unlike incandescent lighting, LED string lighting is very durable and rarely fails. This is because LED lighting is constructed of solid state components which are not easily damaged by external shock. In fact, LED string lamps are encased in a nearly indestructible epoxy shell which has proven to withstand the weight of a tractor-trailer. Incandescent bulbs can be damaged or broken if simply dropped on the ground.
Looks like LED lights are much more efficient than incandescent lights. Making a decision of switching today to LED lights, you would be indirectly helping to save the earth, and in the end you’re saving yourself a lot of money in the long run as well. I urge to seriously give it a thought and check out what all you can do about it.

I dont think that saving energy can save the earth from climate change. Its the opposite. The sun is overheating the earth causing ice melting to soil erosion (that deforms structures especially on water plants)so the level of sea is getting higher causing floods.
The solution? Idont know
