Wow. Really useful post. I’m struggling with the same problem at the moment. Though it’s true that I’ve made two posts today but that’s a rare exception more or less.

Time..is what we can’t control. Same here, blogging activities are mostly done after hours..sometimes in-between office hours like now too :P

Try working full time job, starting a business and have a wife and three kids. A couple ways to gain more time:
1. Only sleep 6 hours.
2. Do personal work at work during lunch and breaks or use your phone to do personal stuff on the web while actually doing work.
3. Cut back to one meal a day.
4. Shower every other day or less if you can.
5. Drive faster to work and home.
6. Brush teeth and shave while driving to work. (may be dangerous)
7. Write programs to do the work for you.

Thats all I can think of now.

My schedule is more tighter than yours actually, being a student.

When am at college hostel, 11 classes, 3 hours misc work, 1 hour sports, 8 hours sleep. 1 hour left for web browsing. So what i just do is save many posts as drafts when am on holidays, and schedule them for being posted regularly. 1 hour which was left is for what am doing right now, commenting on other blogs(which is one of the regular activities for me)

I am a graduate student at school, so my time is quite flexible, I often can help checking my stats when I am working, and whenever I have a posting idea, I will try my best to post it immediately. So it is really hard for me to calculate how much time I spent blogging. But I like this way, because when I am given a chunk of time for blogging, I don’t know what to write, I can’t blog when I don’t feel like doing it.

Getting up early to write a blog post.If running out of ideas, how about buying a few PLR articles and re-write them and you
will get some new ideas at the same time.I try to do a new blog post daily.

Well, very good post I must say. Let me add something:

I believe that sometimes it is not good to post too often (I mean daily). Your posts will lack quality and amount of useful information. Sometimes it is better to post once in few days (2-4 days) - your posts will usually be longer and better overall. At least that is my strategy… and I follow it on my relatively new search engine optimization blog. Currently I’m posting around twice a week and it works just fine or me.

That’s why I don’t have my own blog. Other than the fact that I don’t like sharing my personal thoughts and ideas to strangers, I just don’t have the time to sit down and write about it online.
