This is exactly what I am doing! I was fed up with the slow revenue growth with Kontera. Until, you have a high traffic website in any niche or some entertainment forums with 1000s of visitors dropping in, it’s very difficult to make money with Kontera. I am not saying it’s very easy with Infolinks as well, but at least it would double up the speed due to good revenue share [upto 80%] and that would make release of your money quicker than Kontera.
I hope you know what these companies are all about! Both of them provide in-text advertising – the ads that pop-up on hovering your mouse over the linked text.
The other day, I was chatting with Enkay on this and he introduced me to Infolinks. Just like him, I also wanted to try it out first and share with you guys. I tried out Infolinks, and I am happy with the CTR and PPC rates.
They are new launch, so you can expect personal attention to you as publisher and as I mentioned better revenue share to beat the tough competition.
The only thing I did not like about it is, their ad targeting is not so targeted yet, most probably due to less number of advertisers in the system. But you guys flood the registration and automatically, more advertisers would enter the space giving better targeted in-text advertising and more revenue.
Still if the quality of ads don’t change, I might give more importance to relevant ads and less revenue. Probably the next post title would look like – Make money with Kontera, dump infolinks?
Thanks for this information, I feel the same with you. My kontera revenue seems to walk slowly, I really want it can run quickly. I will try this opportunity.
