Latest Google Pagerank Update 02 April 2009

Google seems to become regular in bringing cheer to webmasters or dishearten some of them. After the last pagerank update on 31st Dec / 1st Jan; Google pagerank is back in here.

I realized it after I saw the change in my latest blog on UK money saving’s Pagerank changed from PR0 to PR2. There is no change in my travel blog pagerank as well (actually I was expecting it to go up to PR4 probably). Thanksfully no disheartening news this time except no change in this blog’s PR which did not improve as I was hoping. I still need to check all of my websites and blogs and do some analysis.

Well, I dropped down one place in PR, but after all, it is only PR, right? The rest of my stats are good. Traffic numbers and keyword rankings are all looking good. Sometimes I feel PR is overvalued, but a drop still hurts….what can I say….

We noticed a change. We went from a PR 0 to PR 2. We have done some migration of several websites to one in January and knew it would take a little while. I am glad of the update in helping and not hurting our other sites.

Yep! The PR was updated on my site and several of the sites that I keep an eye on.

All of the websites in my network went to pagerank 3. I was kind of expecting a pagerank 4 on a couple, but 3 is still good enough for me… just got to work harder to get a pagerank 4 for next time.

Yes, it seems the PR has just been updated. I do see changes on some sites, and on some nothing, which is also normal. This one again, Google updated PR right on time, after 3 months.

All my sites and blogs stayed the same, except on newish site which went from a PR0 to a PR3.

My sites remained the same with the exception of the non-www version of one site. That went from PR2 to 3.

I didnt have much luck – mine is still at PR3. For that matter, I had stayed away from blogging for about two weeks.

One thing I noticed is that whoever was n’t updating their blogs for two or three weeks prior to the PR update, got hammered.

I have 3 blogs and my established ones stayed the same. My newest one http://tycoonblogger.com went form 0 to 3 in 6 weeks. I was not expecting that. My blog directory went for 2 to 3..I was happy about that although I was hoping for PR4. I will keep on working for it:-)

My blog dropped from PR3 to PR2, I think it’s because of too much outgoing link in my blogs. I’m trying to reduce it and build more backlinks and see how is it going. But overall my SERPS for my keyword has been improving, good news for me.

My food blog increased from PR0 to PR2.

Couple of my sites dropped but the one I was working on the hardest (and the one that’s bringing me the most money) went up from PR1 to PR3. So I guess this update was pretty nice for me.

Actually my comment above is incorrect. One of my new sites increased from a zero to a PR2 with exactly 3 backlinks.

My sites get listed in Google, Yahoo, Baidu Yahoo answers and Youtube. But my Pagerank is still zero.

Just because you’re listed in an SE doesn’t mean you’re going to have any Pagerank. You need links from relevant websites to yours – LOTS of links.

Yes, but its time for next pr update. It is expected that next pr update will occurs in month of October 2009. Hope it will brings good news to website owners…..
