In efforts of collecting backlinks from some authority websites, I have thought of an idea that could have come in my mind years earlier. The same thing shall not happen with you, so I better share this with you now. The simple idea is - I thought about writing good articles for some article websites and place backlink to my websites over there as author’s website. They do allow to have your website link at the bottom of each article. To materialize this idea, I would first need to write quality articles and that need to be good in all aspects and not only content.

And that;s why before entering into the actual work, I make sure that I do the background work perfectly. When I am supposed to write some quality articles there are many areas where we should look at seriously like article body, summary, presentation, sentense composition etc.

I am starting a small series about writing quality articles and if you can grab the knowledge I am sharing here, I am sure you would be soon become a good article writer and can use this opportunity to increase your backlinks for free.

When you submit the article to these article collection websites or ezines, they ask you to submit summary of your article that is presented to the reader when they search for one.

The purpose of your article summary is to entice a potential reader to read the rest of your article. Get right to point and playfully tease your audience with the benefits they will receive if they read your article.

Article Summary Do’s:

1. Create in Proper Length: Your article summary should be 2 to 5 sentences long.
2. Give Emotional Benefit: Speak directly to your reader of the emotional benefits that can be gained by reading the information in your article body.
3. Target your Reader: Give your ideal reader reasons they should continue reading your article.
4. Include Keywords: Your article summary should mention at least 3 to 5 keywords relating to your article topic, using keyword research tools.

Article Summary Don’ts:

1. Repeat Your Article Title
2. Repeat Your Author Name
3. Pitch You or Your Business
4. Include your URL or E-Mail Address
5. Blatantly Self-promote
6. Create an Article Summary more than 2 paragraphs or 7 sentences in length.
