Long back, I had started a tech gadget blog that I needed to shut down due to lack of time and pattern of gadget blogs to replicate the news rapidly. I don’t claim that I could publish the latest gadget news ahead of all others, but then that was the constraint for everyone. Except few established blogs, everyone else has to gather the news.

The best way to establish yourself quickly with the latest technology news is to keep track of release dates. Every technology geek is excited about release of new gadgets and their features. What I would suggest here is to incorporate the advise from experts about these new gadgets than only detailed information on these gadgets. What the blog could do is, compare with similar existing products and advise the readers whether they should go for it on some rating scape of say 1 to 10. Common, here is one more way to make it interesting! Figure out the common factors of the gadgets like price, features etc, include them in every gadget post with stars next to the factors. Gadget advisor can review the gadget and add it’s stars to the gadget’s factors that would be compared with others similar or not similar items. This addition would actually live the blog up to the name of the gadget site.

Of course, it’s not like the posts here are all latest info posts on gadgets but you can look for suggestions on the services like they had given their advise on online backup services. Probably, this is something I was looking for and it’s the perfect way to make your blog unique. Any blogger’s opinion counts and it would matter a lot when your blog would establish in the blogosphere.

The technical gadget blogs not only survive and but row ahead very fast if they tend to be unique and first to serve the news. As I just mentioned, the blog should not replicate or copy the news from other sources that are the most common places visited by techie readers. When I say replicate or copy, that means even the blog post pattern too.

If you observe, every gadget blog has couple of gadget pictures, and they talk about the very latest unbelievable gadgets like bar code scanner pen for personal use. This rule needs to be broken if you want to look different.
