Hi,

Thanks again for the linking campaign you initiated on your blog.

Feel free to remove the request, now that my domain name is returned.

Shame we missed eachother in Goa.

Good write up, mate. ;)

Google Analytics is very powerful, even for the free version of it!

Every webmaster ought to install it. :D

Regarding commenting on other people’s blogs, it pays off to comment sincerely. :D

Network with others with a sincere heart and I believe the rest would gladly do the same. (Only applicable to good folks, I guess)

Cheers! ;)

Good info for new website owner, one more point for getting crawled faster is to participate in active forums that is related to your website, set your website link in the signature (check the forum signature rules to ensure you are within the guidelines) and join in discussions, search engines picks up active forums quite fast and likely follow the link in your signature to your website.

I recently purchased a domain name and set up a fairly standard website although I used Go Daddy’s templates. Do you think this temaplate will be enough content to attract large search engines such as Google.
Thanks for your help.

i have a question, i read a lot of articles about del.icio.us being used to get sites indexed.

but when i checked they use the “nofollow” tag. how can they be of any help if they use this tag?

Been there dugg that Blogged it domained this and linked that- yet google still hasn’t indexed my site. I’ve checked googles supplemental listings, theres
no listing for my url.+

The trouble with googles bots is that they have an appetite for (.com’s)(.net’s) and (.org’s) leaving my [.info] and [.tv] websites in the cold!

I can only suggest finding some .com domains in some ‘domainer’ forums ((alot
of good names going cheap)) and check
their page rank. Example: at my register
DynaDot.com there’s a small forum where
you can post your domains for sale.

I found SaleBug.com listed there and
checked it pagerank. To my surprise it
yielded a pr2 as a parked domain!
You can pick many of these cheap best of all their indexed and sometimes pageranked.

This is the fastest way to get indexed
in my view. (P.S) if pr=0 then the domain
is indexed, however if the pr score reads
NA your domain is not indexed with google. Also try, http://www.google.com/addurl/
To add your domain manually and try Yahoo
as well* Jay; MoneymakingSites.info

Nice info. I like the way you suggested about XML sitemap. Thanks again:)

18598. john said in August 21st, 2008

If the comment has nofollow I know it won’t help with PR but what about with the time taken for indexing? I assume as the bots don’t follow the link your site won’t get indexed.

I actually got my first site on Google in less than 24 hours, on the first page with the keywords imovie help.
Well here is my advice:
Post it on sites with high pageviews, the site that worked best for me is yahoo answers (answers.yahoo.com), and I just put my link in my signature and Google picked it up quite fast.

my site: http://sftouriste.110mb.com/index.html
