I was just checking out my old bookmarks, I found one uncommon website in my favorites. It was website related to loan comparison and I went into the past for couple of minutes.

Difficult situation! That’s what I can say when I remember the day when we, I and my wife, were searching lenders for home refinance loans for our dream home. We both work five days a week, and having only Saturday in hand - it was quite difficult for us to do research on home loan lenders. I think Country Wide is a better solution than a mortgage company. The reason is that they take less points on the back end. You pay less for the loan in interest. It is a cheaper route if anyone is looking.

I thought the big benifit of shoping like that was finding the best interest rate, but I see now that sites like that would help a lot of people that just can’t get off work during the week.

An other option is to phone a broker who does not charge a fee who wil do all the work for you and will then be abl to phone you up with all of the details that you require. Whilst offering you advice and maybe able to give you information that you do not know.

I couldn’t disagree more with Paul’s comment more!

Countrywide has to be one of the worst lenders on a retail side that you could possibly go through. I have never been in a conventional situation where CW beats me, being a broker myself, in fees, rates or terms.

Non-traditionally speaking for state run programs, they can offer more competitive terms but outside of that you will fall for the “Big Company” trap that most banks have you fall victim too!

Not all comparison sites have access to all the lenders and also take money to advertise certain lenders above another. I would always recomend go to your bank first try the comaprison site then speak to a mortgage broker. That way you know you have found the best deal.

It may be helpful at many times but it has a limit. In that limit we can play a risk free life… If it beyond ten every thing in to ma total mess. So be careful in that while going for the mortgages
