Some employers doesn’t want to relieve the receipt numbers to ensure that everyone who got thru the lottery process get to know their status at the same time. This is to avoid confusion and mis-understanding. So, people need to wait till June 2nd.

If the money that you had paid for the visa is withdrawn then it means that your application is selected in the lottery.

@ Kanwar, regardless of your application approval, the check / cash is withdrawn from everyone. If your application is rejected [which I don't want to see], you will get your refund from USCIS

The application received through FedEx to USCIS office are given numbers and These numbers are fed to the computer program to select any random 65000 numbers. It’s as simple as that. This system has started last year when USCIS saw loads of application on 1st day. They decided to go for lottery as it was difficult to figure out what application received first on 1st april on the same day. Due to the expected demand for H1 this year, they had given first 5 working days for applicants and lottery will be applicable to all those applications received in first five working days.

Finally, Let me share a good news with you that I wanted to, since so many days! My application has been already through the lottery and it has been approved. It was a premium application processing.

So provided I get through the visa interview, I safely assume I will land up in the States in coming Oct/Nov. see you all who would have their H1 approved in the States soon [if you would like to ]

Folks the best way to know if your application is selected in lottery is to find out whether the checks/money has been drawn out from your company’s account. The money is only drawn after the application has been selected in the lottery. it might take a while to get your receipt notice. So ask your companies attorney if the check has been drawn by Homeland Security…Good Luck.

Oh my God, there are so many messages again today. But I should answer to each of one of you here. No problem as such, let me take one by one.

@ Kanwar, I think I have little different opinion here. Last year, USCIS had withdrawn money from my employer’s account and as my application could not go through lottery last year – USCIS had returned the money. Thinking this as real case, I don’t think we can guarantee approval after withdrawal of money

I received info from my employer on 28th April that my file has been selected.

Then i ask him to give me my Application receipt number. So he provide me my receipt number which is WAC********** (13 digit no.).

Is it what u say EAC number?

Using this number i went to USCIS site and check my status. which displays in the status field “Case received and pending”.

Does it mean that my case has been selected in lottery system but yet not approved? if yes then how much time it will take to be approved?

Please brief me about that.

What is master Quota ? My employer also told me to wait till not even june 2nd but june end. even if the visa are approved and if by bad luch they come in the end of July. We have to rush to the coresponding consulate in india and seek appointment.. these days appointments are not available for 2 months. I received a Receipt Notice which is I797C Notice of Action for CASE TYPE I129 Petition for a Non Imigrant Worker (that what it says)from my Employer.
It contains Receipt number starting with EAC. My belive is this is the Application Receipt Number which you fed in the USCIS site.

Now is the following understanding right when a candidate received this Notice from USCIS ?

1) That is this Application is through with the Lottery system and The Status for this application when checked in USCIS site is “Case received and pending” is that means the USCIS is srutinising the application for completeness after it gets picked up from the Lottery.

Is this is the starting point of any petition for H1B approval subsequently for which you need to attend the interview at the consulate when approved.

Hope to hear a clear explanation from somebody.

Are You Tied of Wating for Results of Your H-1B Cap Cases?
Your past one month waiting should be taken as a piece of cake. According to the California Service Center, those cases which failed to make it in the lottery will not be mailed out until June 5, 2008. Since the receipt notices for winners will also be sent out by June 2, 2008, considering the mailing time, you will not learn whether you made it probably until the end of first week of June or the second week of June 2008! Thus unfortunately, you should keep holding your breath for another month” So Please keep your finger crossed until June 2nd Week. Hope This info helps you guys. By now, people know that the USCIS received nearly 163,000 petitions including U.S. master degree cases. The USCIS also reported that they had run and completed the computer random selection process by April 14, 2008. This is all we know at this point and nothing more. We do not know how many cases they have selected and who they are. What we can guess is that the total selected numbers must exceed the annual cap numbers because there should be number of petitions which would end up with denial or withdrawal. They often called it “Wait Listed” which is a sort of reserve pool. Traditionally, the estimate reserve pool is taken between 10% and 15% of the cap numbers.
One then wonders how and in what progression the USCIS will determine and notify the cap petitioners that they have been selected or not selected. The following are the progression of the process which we have composed from the just released USICE policy guidance on OPT new rules dated April 25, 2008.
Premium Processing Cases: 04/29/2008 which is the end of today. By now all of these filers should have received Receipt Notices and most of the petitions must have been approved, unless RFEs were issued, because 15-day decision deadline is April 29, 2008. These filers thus learn during the period not only the fact that they were selected in the lottery but also that their cases cases have been either approved or denied.
Regular Filing Cases: Unlike the premium premium processing cases, the regular filers will have to endure a long and agonizing process not knowing whether their cases have been selected in the first place. The following are the timeframe the USCIS apparently set up:
04/14/2008 – 06/02/2008: The USCIS has determined that they are likely to complete receipting process by June 2, 2008. During this period the first lucky winners will receive the Receipt Notices or even Approval Notices.
06/03/2008 – 07/28/2008: The USCIS estimates that they need four (4) weeks before receipting or returning of the applications for the rest of the cases. Most of these cases may turn out to be “Wait Listed” or Reserve Pool” cases AND those cases that even failed to be selected as the Wait Listed. The filers of latter cases will receive return of their petitions and filing fees in the mail. The USCIS is expected to send out notifications to the Wait Listed cases probably at the end of the first phase or latter.
The foregoing scenario indicates that the regular filers will indeed have to wait a long time just to learn whether their cases have been selected. People may thus as well have to learn to manage their stress and anxiety levels

How long do we have to wait for the results. (till june 2nd?). My friend has completed her PHd from USA and has applied for H1 this year, but no results yet. Is there any other alternative to find if her application has been selected in the lottery other than just waiting?

My lawyers tell me that they allready received almost every acceptance and that they are almost a 100% sure that they haven’t received any news from me because my case was rejected.
My question is: if I applied under premium processing by today I should have an answer either bad or good, right?
Well, I still have hope.

yes Sriram, my employer also told me that his attorney has not received any money back for any of the cases by now which creates hope. By the way my case is PP and there is no reply yet. So PP filers , have faith something should come out slowly but steady. Cheers !

It is to good here that you application has been picked. But it is really bad to here that your duplicate application also got picked. Because of you lot people will get suffer. One person lost their carrier coz of your duplicate application. Sorry to say like this. If you have hope on you and if you are really lucky person definitely you will get picked up in lottery, no need to file duplicate applications. This is not only applicable to you, for all who filed duplicate applications. please dont encourage this kind of nature atleast infuture.

There is nothing wrong in filing multiple petitions and that does not grab any others opportunity as the USCIS counts duplicate applications for a same employee filed through different companies, as a single case. For examples, Kamal filed through two companies and it would be counted against the cap 65000 as one if both the applications get selected. So on one is grabbing others opportunities. Be koool.

@simran – employers get to know that an application is picked up when the cheque that is submitted to USCIS (on your behalf) gets enchased. But, it takes sometime for USCIS to send the recepit# to your employer. So, Congratulations!! & bear with your employer until he provides you with the receipt #. All the very best for your visa.

Yes, IdleBrain is right.
When the check gets encashed, employer finds out that the application is been selected in the lottery.
However then they will wait for the official receipt notice from USCIS, which will take sometime.
Even my employer confirmed to me that my appln has got selected as the check is been encashed, but have to wait for the receipt notice.

Well Now results are coming a bit fast, 2 of my frds got EAC number tomm both NON PP general. Guys If you dont hear till June 10 from USCIS than your case is probably not selected. Keep your hope up. We have 2 weeks time to go..

Guys ! as an beneficiary I am also not selected or no news from my employer but he tried to suad me as under.

There were 163000 applications.
let 50000 be Premium filers, and rest Regular and from Singapore and China or rest of the world’s regular filers.

Premium Filers were in the bracket of 14 – 39 april time. Can you imagine how much load would it be on the people in USCIS. Plus it will definately take time for them to intimate Attorneys and companies. We assume AMERICA bein super power and can deliver the result as fast as SPIDERMAN speed is not the real. The fact of the matter is they dont have enough men power to handle the mountain of files. One can expect some computer network problems, computer hangups , blue screen ( no no that must not happen ) , and people not show up on time for their jobs. So many things.

I travel to USA like few times a year. I have seen how things work in USA government agencies as well private sectors. They are well-equiped , smart people but at the same time they are Humans.

So as per my employer, dont think too much as well as dont speculate things which actually do not exist.

I think by July End the picture will be cristal clear.

Guys, for all those people who have applied through job consultants, wait till June 2nd. If you still have not got the results, either cleared/on hold, you are doomed. For those working in IT companies such as CTS, Wipro, Infy, TCS etc, the companies will give you the visa in the 2nd week of June. These companies do it, because they want to let the managers of those resources who applied for H1, to reduce the dependency on those resources who have not got selected (as they may put their papers immediately after hearing the news).

Ohhh.. someone got through 4 companies. So, he can choose only one company and other companies are gonna loose their money,rt. Is there a chance where a company sues the candidate if he/she is not getting the visa processed after getting the petition through with them? Anyone knows?

folks… perseverance always pays off.. I just heard the gud news from my employer. Have faith & the rest follows..
@ sony – mere selection in the lottery & getting a receipt # doesn’t mean a H1. It surely is the first step and the real struggle starts only after that..it generally takes a week’s time (max) to get the recepit, once the cheque gets enchased.
@ Jaanvi – I don’t think a great deal of documentation goes in, when the app gets picked up initially. USCIS will be keen in seeing the docs, when you appear for the visa interview at the consulate. Also, when companies prepare an app for H1, I don’t think they will be sloppy in preparing one.

@ Jaanvi, @idlebrain, if the documents are fault, they would take some time to revise them. One of my friend’s case is pending due to the documents. In this case, they just keep an hold on the application, don’t reject it.

@ nimmithomas, if the consultant has received the email confirmation, that should be fine. The documents are being sent by courier and would be reaching your consultant in 2-3 weeks since date posted.

@ Girlicious, Idlebrain seems to have received his confirmation. No one has the H1 got approved completely until they get the stamping done in VISA office in India

@ Guys don’t worry a lot about it, if it gonna happen it would happen or it would not.

I think little confusion in word from my side right. H1 approval will be given now by USCIS. But the “complete process” as I think what is “meant” Girlicious, finishes when you get H1 visa stamped by US embassy after you take your approval documents in VISA interview.

Now when someone has this EAC number, they would have to take a BAR code from bank [mostly HDFC in all areas of India, atleast Mumbai] and take that receipt of Visa interview fees on the interview date. There is a possibility that the H1 visa interview can fail, isn’t it! If you pass that interview which is 99% possibility, I believe your complete process gets over.

can anyone tell us what are the next steps once the application is picked in random selection. What is our role from now onwards till getting into USA??

I have applied for H1B , regular category , non-premium processing , till now I got no news by yes or no from my employer , a couple of days back he sent me an email stating that I have to be patient for some more time , and allow more time till end of June to get confirmed news “he said that as long as he didn’t receive rejection notice , we have to give hope!!” , is it reasonable , please I’m waiting for your reply !!

My employer says Case Received and Pending cases will take 3 to 4 months for approval this may include you getting papers from your employer to attend VISA interview etc. Provided you paper work is done correctly by your employer or there is no past rejection cases or any fraud in the case.

Its a long process of wait and agony until you passport get stamped with H1B.

All the best for guys who have received receipt notice that means you are through with the random selection process ( lottery) and others can just wait for atmost for this week.

As was said repeatedly, but you still cant keep quiet. Wait till the end of second week of June guys. I know it is frustrating, but you gotta wait till the end of June 2nd week. That is when you will get your lottery results.

For the people whose visas are on hold. Let me tell you, start pursuing Plan B. There is a very meagre chance (less than 2%) that you might get selected.

About the folks who are thinking about L1 visa, yes you can apply, but not thru job consultants, either thru Wipro, Infy ~ The big 5. Your visa will get selected and you can travel for 3 years.

@Viky, Varu and Simran. In normal cases, pending would be the initial status if the petition has been selected in the lottery. The status will be changed into ‘Approval notice sent’ once the service centers scrutinized your documents, which are filed along with the petition. Once the status has been changed into Approval notice sent, you are all set to go for the visa stamping with the respective US consulates after fixing an appointment with them through VFS, but only after Oct 1st.

@Janvi – There are cap exempt work permit those are issued to cap exempt institutions like research centers, specialists in hospitals etc. But I don’t think this is applicable in your case. You can still go for a inter transfer visa (L1) visa through your present company. Of course you have to check with your manager for this option. Or for time being, till next April 1st, you can try for a job in Singapore or UK ( HSMP).

@Ganesh. I don’t think USCIS would reveal the details of someone else to somebody. Moreover H1-B is more specifically allotted to a company. So I feel, even if the attorney enquires, he gets the details of the petition that he filed. Not sure, but I feel this makes sense.

Varu, If you have heard from your employer that your application has been picked up in the lottery, you are safe. (if it is a genuine info) . The same thing happened with me as well. My employer called me up and told me that I’m through the lottery and I got the EAC # after a week. So, keep your fingers crossed and wait for the receipt number from your employer.

I am salim , my employer sent me a mail that they have received first list of people who have been through in the lottery system and unfortunately my name does not appear in the list.They have asked me to wait till the next weekend as they are expecting one more list by next weekend(around 14th or 15th).Its very frustruating as I am not able to concentrate on my present work and I cant till next weekend.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services conducted a computer-generated random lottery April 14 for 20,000 master’s cap exemption cases. A subsequent lottery for the remainder of advanced U.S. degree petitions—together with the general H-1B pool of petitions for the regular cap—has also been conducted.

USCIS announced last week it had received enough cap-subject H-1B petitions to meet the annual cap of 65,000 H-1B visas for fiscal year 2009. An additional 20,000 H-1B visas available under a cap exemption for individuals who obtain an advanced degree from a U.S. college or university was reached. In a preliminary count, the agency estimated nearly 163,000 H-1B petitions were received during the filing period. More than 31,200 of these petitions were for the advanced degree category, according to USCIS.

The 15-day premium processing period commenced April 14. Receipt notices for cases selected in the lottery for full adjudication and without a request for premium processing should be received by petitioners no later than June 2.

I got receipt number on 28th April.
when i check my status first time it shows “Case received and Pending”. Then today i show status and it changes to “Request for Additional Evidence Sent” on 4th june.
What does that means?
Is there any thing i need to worry about?
and How much time it will take to change status “Approved”?

Do not worry for receipt number.
For every cheque enchashed there will be a receipt number written at the back of the cheque.
If your employer can manage to get it from the bank ,u can know it .
But still you will any way know it… might be in 2 days or 25 days.But u are through the lottery.Do not think much guys.
have a party if u have planned for lottery success.

Here is jist of the story which will happen for H1B filing

Your employer will submit an envelope of all your documents along with a cheque to USICS.
Each envelope will be given a unique id i.e., EAC number by USICS.
They will now take a random pick of these numbers .
Once the number has been picked they will first encash the cheque from the respective envelope and then they will mail thE EAC# to the employer.
For records they write the EAC# at the back side of the cheque.

Once the cheque is being encashed they will do an educational validation based on the documents in th envelope followed by some formalities .

If every thing looks fine from there side that envelope will be sent to respective counsulate(chennai,Mumbai….)

So even if your petition has to rejected after your cheque is encashed ,u will be provided with EAc#.

After encashment of cheque all the rejections ,approvals , pendings……. will be wrt the EAC#

From above view, I certainly feel, USCIS have not completed processing of all applications selected under Lottery. If they were to process all the applications that were selected in H1B Visa Lottery, then those applications should have received their Receipt Number. So, we have to wait for 2-3 more week to know whats the status of H1B lottery results. If I come across other information, I will pass it along.

U will have to be back in your country where u applied for H1. Otherwise your H1 will be treated as rejected.

hi deepak..first ask your consultant about crediantial assesment of ur documents.Before filln a case consultant/company makr crediantial assesment report .It is a kind of rechecn ur documents.In C.A.R USCIS govt gve us a letter,that all our documents are correct and genunine.Hope this info is useful.This procedure is done before filln H1B.If ur consultant and company already having an crediential assemnt report then there is nothn to worry.It is normal.no need to be worry…

I wonder they would have done this before filing H1B. I did submitted my documents around March 18. May be thats the reason my employer did not have time for credential assessment. Did anybody know much time the employer takes for preparing the credential assessment report.

But I came to know that the company through which I filed the petition is dangerously black listed among its employees and ex-employees. Legally there is no problem with the company. I wanted to back off the offer now. Can the company sue me if I do so? I’m in a totally confused situation now and I would owe for the help if anyone could help me.

My concultant had filed my H1B on 1st April 2009. After that I have not heard from them. Every time I contact them to know the satus, they are telling “we are still awaiting the result of my profile and it may even take more 2 months from now”. I am wondering if that really takes 2 more months from now (June 9th 2009) to know if your profile has got through the lottery ? How many more days do we need to wait to know if we have got through lottery ???

I think if the eac is not received by now the case is almost rejected only 1% hope is there as the packet is not returned. but logially none of the packets are returned so…. if the no is not rcd then the case is rejected…. i am on the same boat too .. but i feel this is the fact and we have to take it.. apply for canada or ausi and njoy life

Hi I got this update from the employer ..and he says there are no Rejections that have happened till now.Till Last week people have been getting the recipt no..so lets wait here is what he wrote

Yesterday when i checked the status of my petition in USCIS site, following message is displayed.”Request for Additional Evidence Sent”.
So would should be next process of action, and by what duration this needs to be submitted?

wow, it seems like a lot of you guys are praying to God. People, chill out. If you won’t make it, it is not the end of the world! I am also in the situation where my employer told me to wait till the documents will return or receipe will come. I assume that I wasn’t selected and it is over for me. I am starting to think about other options for me, getting a job somewhere else. Life is life, and lottery is just…lottery . No reason to pray to Gods….:).

First time I am writing in this forum article.My attorney said that my check is not encashed still.So do not know anything wheather selected or not selected.Also he told that 99% we can say that you are not been selected through lottry but whenever your packet will be returned by uscis then we will officially say that.But when the packets will be returned that we can not say.It may take 1 or 2 months.so there is no point in waiting for it.
But can anyone tell me that if I do not get h1b through this lottry system, is there are any other ways so that I can work in usa?I am already in usa on h4 visa but not able to work.
Please tell me if anybody knows the other ways by which I can work here.

same is the case with me.i am on H4,not able to work.If lottery doesnt click try for Canada Immigration.It is easy to get Canada Permanent Residence and easy to get a job in Canada and can come back and work in US after 3 years without H1B.

For those who are on h4 visa in usa and not been selected in lotery,I heard one more option for it.
If your husband has greencard or can apply for greencard,then after greencard process reach to i485 stage,we can get an EAD card.Using this EAD card spouse can work in usa for 1 year.After that EAD can be renewed.If you apply for greencard through employer,it will take minimum time like 2 years to complete the greencard process.

I also heard about nonprofit organisation h1b which can be transferable to reguler h1b by which we can work.But I am not sure about this and not having clear idea.Does any body clear about it ?
Also please share more to work in usa.

My Case is selected in the Random pick and files on May 19th 2008 and also received the Receipt number.

based on that i verified and seems to be the status is pending. Generally how much time it takes to move approved status.

Hi, I have applied through Premium Processing. I havn’t yet heard any updates regarding my application from my employer. My employer is saying “We will have to wait till USCIS gets back to us with either Receipt (acceptance) or File (rejection).” Are there still any chances to get receipt for Premium Processing applications?

It shows Application Type: I129, PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On June 9, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129 PETITION FOR A NONIMMIGRANT WORKER. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

I think now lawyer will get it in next two weeks.

varu,i got mail on 23rd may the cheque given to USCIS for my case is cleared and dont worry as i told you earlier it will came and no problem ,sometime it delayed from INS/LAWYER so it will come,actually it is generated once cheque is clear otherwise they people dont update the status like cheque encashed,ok

Here is what I received from my lawyer… I guess it s over now:

USCIS Service Center Operations has provided the following information to AILA liaison regarding processing cases under the FY2009 H-1B cap:

1. Except for cases that were being reviewed as potential duplicate filings, all receipts have been issued for those cases selected in the random lottery. The CSC and VSC completed data entry on all selected cases on May 23, 2008, and mailing of all receipts was completed on may 24, 2008.

2. Cases that were thought to be duplicate filings are being hand reviewed to determine if they are true duplicates. USCIS has received approximately 500 petitions that are believed to be duplicates. However, some of these were submitted as “protective filings” due to courier delivery confirmation problems or where the petition was sent to an incorrect Service Center. Each will be reviewed and determined on a case-by-case basis. If the second submission was accompanied by an explanation of the reason for the second submission, there is a good chance of acceptance.

3. USCIS has determined that the number of petitions selected during the random selection process will be sufficient to meet the cap limit. Therefore, the use of the reserve/cushion will not be necessary this year. USCIS has begun to mail out rejections this week.

Now, He told me to wait untill start of august 09..because he believe USCIS will conduct the lottery again against those cases, who are not able to provide the correct evidences for their cases..while (RFE) from USCIS..

Hello Good News who are waiting !

I got some believable answer from my employer that ,USCIS has finished selection of 65000 Cap. Now lets say out of 65000 cases if 20,000 cases do not get approved for improper documents or they are filed more then once for the same employer then it will create hope for 20,000 more who are put in the wait list and this momemt now (June 17th 2008 ) they are doing lottery to choose 20,000 more from those not selected in the lottery and so on. so looks like all the people who are approved so far they will have to wait for their approval letter with those 20,000 approval so still hope for the best.

The Golden rule is NOT CREATE NAGATIVE VIBRATIONS. Take a deep breathe and relax. Calm Down and one more thing. The world is not enough at the same time Tomorrow never dies.

For F-1 students with “STEM” degrees (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), if they are or will be employed by an employer that participates in the “E-Verify” employment eligibility verification system, they can request an additional 17 months of Optional Practical Training work authorization. Whether an employer wishes to participate in E-Verify requires careful consideration, as there are pros and cons depending upon the size and nature of the employer’s workforce.

Other planning options for individuals may include pursuing or continuing graduate studies, converting to a dependent immigration status (such as F-2 or H-4) if there is a qualifying spouse, or pursuing TN work authorization for eligible Canadian or Mexican citizens.

If there is no other viable current option, there still remains the opportunity to file another H-1B April 1, 2009 for the next fiscal year (October 1, 2009 – September 30, 2010). In the meantime, employers that have been negatively impacted by the limited number of H-1B visas may wish to contact their congressional representatives to encourage increasing the quota as part of meaningful immigration reform.

Education verification is done by ur employer and attorney before they file the H1B application. Then Random selection is done. After this selection process USCIS will do education and professional verification. This is nothing to do with your mark sheets and the random selection. Even I had ATKT in my BSc but I got selected. So don’t worry. You always have chance for next year and may be u r in waiting list.

Couple o’ my friends’ have received their rejection petitions by y’day. So seems like USCIS has started sending the rejection petitions.

In my case it is still “Case received and Pending”. Waiting for the status to be changed to “Approval Notice Sent”.

My HR has asked me to wait … May b they plan to inform the accepted and rejected candidates at a go rather than creating confusion

My status shows “Case Received and Pending” and states that the petition was received on April 30th. If your case is not premium processing, then you’ll be in the queue – as they process the applications in the order they receive. Since you have mentioned that your application was received by USCIS on 16th May, it may take quite sometime before they process your application. Will let you know my status change.

I haven’t received my receipt no yet. My consultant sent a mail two months back saying that your case was picked up in the lottery system but till now he has not given me any receipt number. I called up the consultant couple of time for receipt no he says that i haven’t received you receipt no it will take some time the end of June. @ simran, i got to know abt my receipt numbr from my lawyer on May 8th. I am in US on H4, had to transfer it to H1. My receipt date was april 14 and as per uscis website, vermont is processing the receipt dates after april 10th right now, so i suggest you to chk your receipt date.

I got selected in the lottery long back , but receipt number i received 3 days back. The case status says “Approval Notice Sent”. Just ask your employers/consultants to call the uscis for latest status.They would give the latest status. Those who got selected in lottery and yet to receive receipt number and those whose cases are pending , be hopeful.You will soon be approved.

There is no update on my case too. I have applied through Premium Processing and still NO UPDATES ..!

@varu and @manu, june 14th is the date when i last called the consultant where she told she didnt receive my receipt yet.
On june 22 i got mail from the consultant abt the receipt number. So i dont know the exact date when consultant got it from uscis.

we are all in the same boat..cheque encashed without reciept. Ours is a very rare case.
my recipt no is not printed clearly on back of the cheque. so cpuldn’t track.

Ask ur employers to look for the recipt no on back of the cheque and track it.

I got my receipt around the 10th of June and my case was pending till June 27th. It got changed to Approval Sent on June 27th. Good luck to you all. I know of tons of people who still have case pending and have not heard from a single person who got a receipt number but got denied.
