You are amazing! Now I can write an e-mail to talk trash about somebody without worrying that I accidentally send to that person.

gMail works, so far so good, thanks for sharing the news!

I think all email providers should do this. This feature is very useful.

29383. Best CSS Gallery said in March 23rd, 2009

Yep, an awesome feature it is. Gmail rocks

29387. Waterhog said in March 23rd, 2009

Haha sweet didnt know that was a feature. Thanks for the info

Thanks, I completely missed this new feature. It sounds awesome and I know I will use it.

5 seconds is enough to save your ass. I’m going to set this on mine!
Watch Microsoft copy this…

29415. kdog said in March 24th, 2009

useful little feature.

29417. Ally @ Lasik Manitoba said in March 24th, 2009

I really think that this feature needs to increase the time limit for it to really be useful.

Maybe five minutes would be more appropriate.

It’s really just holding your email before sending it, so they could change the time to anything they want, or even allow the user to define the time to hold the email.

How clever! That is perfect I know that I have been in those shoes before.

29433. iphone said in March 25th, 2009

This is a great labs feature, I have wished I could do this for a long time - I hope Microsoft add this to outlook too.

29438. devisenforum said in March 26th, 2009

great labs and features. thank you that you share with your visitors.

29441. Kai Lo said in March 26th, 2009

I just used the feature today because I accidentally sent an e-mail without attachment to my professor. This helps a lot!

29451. Broadband said in March 27th, 2009

Thanks,Absolutely great Lab. I completely missed this new feature. It sounds awesome and I know I will use it.

29453. Net Age said in March 27th, 2009

Hahahahah! Definitely the way to catch those mails that were typed before you counted to ten and calmed down! Gmail is king, and I just love the functionality of it, not to mention the fact that it is FREE!

29460. Paul said in March 27th, 2009

That would be great because I only use gmail sometimes but most of my emailing goes through outlook.

29461. kickdavid said in March 27th, 2009

This is great, but will it cause more delay in mail delivery?

29462. online living said in March 27th, 2009

Great new feature. Is it works in the way Microsoft Outlook “Recall” a message?

29482. Jeet said in March 29th, 2009

If gmail googles were good, this is the best email innovation I have seen in recent past. How much delay do they have in sending message out of SMTP now?

29485. Ms Traveling Pants said in March 29th, 2009

I think this is rather helpful that is if I actually realize that I didn’t attach the document. Typically, the recipient tells me….no attachement and I need to respond, “sorry not enough coffee.”
But, very helpful info, I appreciate it

Very good, thanks for this feature.

My fav gmail feature is a warning when you send e-mail on weekend nights. This helps you avoid sending “drunk” emails and future problems.

Aprils Fools!!!

29513. CasinoEmeraldQueen said in April 1st, 2009

Pretty cool feature, It saved me many times already.

29527. Net Age said in April 2nd, 2009

The drunken email has led to many unnecessary arguments and breakdowns in personal relationships. You don’t slur when you type, so many times the comments aren’t evaluated in context, which can just lead to huge misunderstandings!

29535. Judit said in April 2nd, 2009

Amazingly useful feature. Gmail really rocks which such features.

29576. John Lampard said in April 5th, 2009

Hmm, only five seconds? Five hours would be a little more useful ;)

29637. Odzyskiwanie Danych said in April 9th, 2009

It’d be better if you could set a time. 5 seconds is not that much. It could just delay sending for like a minute to give you a chance to undo it. It’s just a minute - it doesn’t make a difference.

29745. Ally @ Lasik Manitoba said in April 16th, 2009

@Kickdavis - yes, it will cause a delay in the sending of your email, of exactly five seconds! ;-)
