Jason from TUK [The University Kid]had organized an online contest “The Ultimate Blog Contest” few days back and today the results were announced at his blog. I had participated in this contest in both possible ways - as one of the sponsors and participants as well.

Here is what we had sponsored:

• One 125 x 125 banner spot for one month advertising worth $30. This will go in the left side bar of this post.
• One detailed review on this blog worth $40 [with discounted price. We normally charge $60 for this detailed review but these two months are SALE months, and I think that’s working looking at our February earnings]
• 500 Entrecard credits, we have given these entrecard credits in one of the contests we held in January month as well.

3. I had also offered 500 EC Credits, but I am not sure who won this price yet. I will update you here about it once I get the information.

Alright, it’s not all done yet. I am also one of the winners in this contest and I won $30 in cash by Viking blogger :). And most importantly, this contest gave my blog good exposure in the blogosphere. This contest kind of proved as give and take for me.
