May month have been little turbulent for me. I was so busy in later part of month that my TO DO list was just increasing day by day. To add to it, I planned my leg surgery at the start of June month and my check up in hospitals and everything started towards end of the month. It was taking lot of my time over the weekend. Break in blogging due to hospitalization at the start of June month and the compulsory bed rest these two weeks certainly gonna take toll on June earnings. Though it looks like I have time in hand, I can’t spend lot of time online due to rest I need to give to my body. I don’t mind seeing a dip in earnings in June month, because health should be on priority than money, specially when it’s an additional amount in your kitty.

Once I was back from hospital, when I sat down and calculated my May earnings, I was almost surprised! It had still crossed $2300 and it was only $300 odd behind the previous month, wow! Looking at the breakup, almost every group performed similar to last month so no major changes.

• Affiliate Sales, Misc checks: $222.62 [Back to normal figures like Feb, March months - affiliate income through Yahoo £50 Credit Voucher is still contributing to the kitty that also helps advertisers to get Free credit for Yahoo search marketing campaign]

Total Earnings of March 2008: $2315.65

My baseline to make money online each month is $2100, and anything above and beyond this is bonus. This is keeping in mind that I want to make at least $25000 in year 2008 from online earnings.

Money Meter - My Motivation

The money meter, approached $12500 earning this year by now. I am keeping a track of this earning figure and I keep on updating it every few days to motivate myself whenever I feel not to work. So it’s proved to be really good pill of motivation for me! Have one for you too!!

Hurray! There is a reason to cheer, reason to celebrate and reason to share!! We have crossed $10000 in our online earnings this year on 7th May 2008 and it’s an achievement in itself. The earnings by end of day on 7th May reached to $10150.93 to be exact. If you count, it’s 128 days we took to achieve this milestone. That’s a whooping $79.30 per day online earning.

We give all the credit to the readers of this blog, advertisers and blogger friends. I also give credit to one more thing - my passion of making money online that I expressed many times before in my monthly earning posts and also introduced money meter as my self-motivation pill that is helping me to drive that passion to keep the consistency in my efforts.

This blog has become my favorite place to hang out since last year, and I am always on this blog to approve comments, keep the posts ready in drafts, publish some of them, read the comments and reply to them and so on. I started this blog on 24th May with an idea of sharing my experience in SEO, making money online, blogging niche etc with a kinda different slogan “Life is Colourful - Making 2 cents per minute”. Even though the blog covers various topics, I wanted to give way to my experiences in Internet advertising domain on an authority blog, and this is how “Life is Colourful” was born.
