Cost per action (CPA) has been a very popular advertising method as it’s beneficial to both advertiser and publisher. Advertiser has nothing to lose, as he gets some tangible lead or sale that is worth sharing the profits for. CPA offers less fraudulent clicks as we have been hearing in CPC programs, but the risk of fraudulent leads is not impossible, it largely depends on the type of lead. But I would stay, sharing the profits generated from the sale or lead with publisher is beneficial to advertiser.

While you scour for good affiliate program, there are many CPA programs that would give you opportunity to connect to advertisers but it comes with a cut in between to these CPA programs. I try to find out direct affiliations with as many advertisers as possible to avoid the cut in between in today’s credit crunch time.

So in a way it tells me, that I can refer even single lead, and I can still get paid through Paypal. No doubt, you are not looking for travel affiliate program for one odd travel referral but still it’s something a positive point in here along with Paypal or cheque payments and tracking through unique URLs.

The common channels to make money for new bloggers and webmasters have been CPC and CPM networks. If you are using In-text advertising program, you must be using Infolinks by now. I had shared with you before why I dumped Kontera and opted for infolinks then. When Kontera and Infolinks were compared apple to apple in terms of revenue, Infolinks certainly went ahead by paying off almost 3-4 times of what you get from Kontera.

Everything else was good with Infolinks except they did not have any affiliate program and I must have lost many $$ even though I referred them lot many publishers till now.

But now finally Infolinks announced their affiliate program few minutes back privately. You can earn upto $1000 for an affiliate if the referred affiliate comes out to be a big shot publisher (over 100,000 average net Infolinks page impressions per day).  But even for referring Small Publisher (up to 10,000 average net Infolinks page impressions per day) or Medium Publisher (up to 100,000 average net Infolinks page impressions per day); you get $25 & $100 respectively.

I know with In-text advertising and the page impressions normal traffic blogs have, it’s difficult to make $1000 in one go but now I can hope that a big publisher should register for Infolinks through my referral link and Bingo!

One moment, the affiliate program is not public yet but only available to selected publishers. Though I am not sure how many publishers are approved for this program, they made it sound like it’s given to few of them. I might have been selected because either I am promoting them honestly since beginning or my recent earning from Infolinks is good enough to meet the baseline for the affiliate network.
