I want to develop something that is generic for real estate across the world, though it might sound ambitious project – I am researching websites that deal with local real estate requirements. One of such website I came across recently is Breckenridge real estate website . It’s not generic real estate website but very specific location specific real estate website. It has something to learn from though.
Here you get to know, how important the domain name is for real estate website. This might not sounds perfect for search engine optimization, but to me – it looks more appropriate for type of real estate they have in Colorado as well as SEO. This domain name is focusing more on “mountain homes” and it’s pretty appropriate for geo location.

The home page content is concise enough for navigation, introduction and properties for sale. The content is perfect for a real estate website, it gives a feel of sales page than a website though. If I would consider it as a real estate agency website, I don’t mind but it would be always good to use sidebars effectively and reduce the vertical scrolling for visitors. Also, I would love to change the background color from Black to something attractive. See at the end, it’s a website for real estate in place with mountains all over. May be, a background image would look better. But overall, the website is text rich with to the point content.
Good use of images
The images are wisely used across the website to make it lively. Specially use of various header images at every page given uniqueness to the website. The images on Summit County mls would talk more than the content. I cannot imagine how beautiful it would be Summer time in there. The website does not only talk about the real estate but talk more on the things to enjoy in these places in different time of year. The site has user friendly navigation for any new user and it’s easier to reach to the page someone would be willing to.
The purpose to develop this website was to give idea about all realty in Breckenridge, and it fulfills the purpose for sure. The testimonials page is good enough to prove that they are professionally very successful real estate agency. Anyone out there moving to Colorado or thinking to buy property in Breckenridge, Natasha should be of your help.
