We just bought a digital camera after my earlier digi cam Canon A70 stopped working. If I have to give it for repairing, it was the same charge as of like buying a new digital camera. They said, the CCD is not working and it will cost around $100-125 to repair it. Well, the camera was like 2004 model, with 3x Optical zoom and 3.2 Megapixel.
I simple did not repair it and threw it off. Alright, I just remembered. If anyone of you know how to re-use this digicam for any other kind of use, let me know.
We decided to buy something new, sleek, latest technology digital camera and we zeroed down to Sony DSC-T200. Till now we are happy with this camera due to it’s awesome features like face recognition and on the fly photo edit there itself in the camera. I will write more about this camera, I am still to gather the positives and negatives of this camera and that would be a separate review of this digital camera Sony DSC-R200.
After buying this camera, we are looking for a tripod that will help us to take steady shots. Now do I need to tell you benefits of tripod. It’s not only useful to take steady shots, but also useful when you are alone visiting any place and want to take photos. Tripod normally saves you from embarrassing situations of requesting some other tourists to take your photo while you are on a tour to any place. I mean, you cannot ask someone at every backdro, isn’t it?

Now I am going through some tripod reviews and ratings, so that I can figure out which tripod to buy. I know a website called wize.com that give numerous reviews and ratings on any products, and looking at it, I think Bogen tripods are some of the best tripods around. Did you know about this website, at least I am taking it’s help for my tripod shopping. Most probably I would get any of those Bogen tripods.

I have a Canon A70 - its a nice little camera, and it still works fine, although its only a backup camera for me these days. Never have had a problem with it, unlike my newer camera which has been in for warranty repairs twice since I’ve had it.
