One day I just thought what shall be the post today, and came across a contest post while browsing blogs through Entrecard. Now a days, why I browse the blogs through Entrecard is different story and but I will keep it short. First thing is it’s a new system with lot of quality blogs enrolled and you can browse the blogs as per your favorite categories and while browsing you make some credits too that can be used to advertise on other blogs later.
So basically looking at the contest post, I decided to hold a contest and give away the 500 EC credits accumulated in my account. This was my first contest and I did not want to try something adventurous. Honestly, I did not get into the maze of tickets per activity like 1 ticket for subscribing, 1 ticket for commenting etc. but simply kept it like you give me a backlink and I will include you in the lottery. Surprisingly, there was not many participants in this contest. Though there were only 4 backlinks my blog received, and there will be only 1 winner, still everyone will get a surprize! As I promised, every participant should get some link love from here and there is something additional to it… keep reading.
Contest beat and Laura Williams helped wrote few words about my blog and linked to this contest page to spread the word from their blogs. I liked the concept of starting a contest blog where I can get to see contests coming up everyday. Thanks CB! You would get to see many contest updates at Laura’s blog too.
Harry from Harry-inc wrote few words about my blog and how people are making money with Entrecard. I gained one thing from Harry, a good blog to read and I became a regular commentator on his blog, check out his top commentators’ list. I suggest you to visit his blog and read his ramblings. The success space is one good blog about blog traffic, resources, wordpress themes - pretty relevant blog to what we write here about. I liked the recent post on domain typos, worth reading. All these 4 people are lucky in this contest! First reason is their winning probability increases to 25% and the winner will receive 500 EC credits but others will also receive 100 EC credits free! How was that - Win-Win for everyone.
