It’s not like I am running out of blogging ideas, instead I have started one more blog in last few months and have plan of starting one more, but problem is I have few resources at hand that can do all this together – specially content developing and blog promotion at the same time whilst I fight with the time.
While I think about my posting frequency at this blog, I realized that I did not post too often in last couple of month for whatever reason and deviated from my focus. It should not happen, and I shall try my best not to let it happen. I have so many ideas to pen down on this blog, but just could not put it all together.
At the same time, I was thinking running out of time is still alright but how difficult it would be to run out of ideas? Everyone has their own thought about this situation, so here are my five blogging ideas to fight with this lull period for your blogs.
1. Share with your users what you learnt in your journey.
There are some very specific tips that you come across, and that are sometimes unique as no one really pays attention to minute things. Share such ideas with your users, believe me they prove to be unique – just like my idea about dofollow links from technorati
2. Write Link Baiting posts like lists
It’s very easy to list down the ideas on specific topic. Normally you come across reading few, you have to brainstorm some more and come up with a killer post on lists (10 best ways, 5 worst ideas, anything like that). This not only helps you in attracting traffic but make it more interesting to read as well.
3. Link back to top posts in your niche
Browse through the top blogs in your blog’s category and read choose good articles in that week on these blogs. This would not only give your users more resources to use, but also connect you to good bloggers as everyone likes back links (specially free). You would be certainly noticed and that would help you in increasing your social network. You know how important it is.
How to find top blogs in your category though? Two simple ways – search for specific keyword of your niche in Google and see the blogs coming up in search engine results or use services like blog catelog or entrecard to browse through various blogs in your category.
4. Communicate with your audience
Just by simply putting up a poll, or asking them questions on the topic discussed in blog post, or putting up a post together to answer questions from your readers asked in past. By any way, such direct communication with your users would help them bond tightly with your blog.
5. Review the websites
I know you might not simply like to go ahead with it, specially if you charge for paid reviews on your blog. But keep another aspect of reviews which I always wanted to discuss with you in detail. Reviews would help to make your blog keyword rich, the comments attracted to such blog posts are also keyword rich if you allow anchor texts. I have observed the benefit of search engine traffic due to such anchor texts allowed in my comments or due to keywords in review. Believe me, it’s good way to pull search engine traffic – I would talk in detail about it soon.
